Don’t try to deal with the pain alone

Take the mystery pain online questionnaire

Discuss your pain with your friends and family to remind them that what you feel is real. If you let them know, they will see how it affects you and they may be able to find ways to help you.

Why should you continue to suffer?
The pain you feel is real and, with the correct help, can often be effectively managed. Make an appointment with your doctor and describe your symptoms following the guidelines as shown on this site. They will be able to discuss the treatment options with you.

Share your concerns with a patient group
Your GP or local pain service may be able to put you in touch with pain support groups where you can share your experiences and learn from other sufferers and experts in the field. When you discuss, understand and become actively involved in your treatment, there is a greater chance it will be successful.
